Afortio specialists implemented several projects for Dutch software company Signifile BV to improvement of its own product – Signifile Orchestra Document Control System: - Integration of system to MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - possibility to attach documents to Document Control System in user-friendly ways: directly from MS Office-applications using toolbox and from Windows Explorer (by right click menu or drag-n-drop to special folder).
- Development friendly Web-based GUI for system with usage of PHP and MySQL technologies.
- Implementation various customizations of Document Control System for current and prospective clients of the system: we have fulfilled possibility of joint operation with system for several departments, adapted simple workflow and special templates, implemented reporting.
About Signifile Orchestra Document Control System: Information retrieval is implemented with usage of specially crafted taxonomy (without using traditional context search). The system allows to assign each file to several categories (for example: type document, department, etc.) Required document may be easy obtained by applying label filters. The solution itself is designed for convenient document retrieval. About Signifile BV: Signifile BV specializes in corporate information management applications such as Knowledge management systems, Project management systems, Manual management solutions, Archiving, Mail registration, and distribution. Main aim is to continue developing and perfecting next generation knowledge software. "From early 2003 onward, our company has been in constant co-operation with Afortio Ltd of Kiev, Ukraine.
