Archive management system

The system is designed to work with the database of archival documents containing results of audit inspections for large auditing company. The main functionality includes:

  • Automatic infill of auditor's inspection cards
  • Automatic import / export of MS Office (Word, Excel) documents
  • Possibility to work with content of documents via handy interface, including:
    • Work with content of documents keeping original format
    • Work with fragments of documents
    • Advanced search (by document entry, by types of documents, by classifier, by context, etc)
    • Personal settings - folders, bookmarks and document lists
  • User rights management

The system is based on the client-server architecture. Following tools and technologies were used: MS SQL Server, MS VC++ and Delphi.


Minutes Control System for the large state organization

Document Management & Workflow

The system is intended for automation of meetings notes management process and control over execution of action items, approved by commissions. The system supports the workflow, used in this organization and assigns access rights depending on predefined roles.


Projects for Signifile Orchestra Document Control System

Afortio specialists implemented several projects for Dutch software company Signifile BV as improvement of Signifile's flagship product – “Signifile Orchestra Document Control System”:

  • Integration into MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Possibility to easily put documents to Document Control System: directly from MS Office-applications using integrated toolbox and from Windows Explorer context menu of via drag-n-drop.

  • Development of Web-based GUI for Signifile Orchestra allowing remote access to all documents in system.

  • Implementation of Document Control System for Signifile's current and prospective clients: joint operation of several departments, adapted simple workflow and special templates and implemented reporting.
About Signifile Orchestra Document Control System

Signifile Orchestra Document Control System is targeted for easy management and quick retrieval of desired information. Document retrieval is based on extensive usage of specially crafted customer-specific taxonomy (with little or no using of traditional context search). The system allows assigning each file with multiple categories or labels (for example: document type, department, responsible person, etc). In order to fetch the document user just has to specify several labels which correspond to the document and then select desired document from reduced list.
