Palm Applets is an Internet store for selling medical applets for PC, Palm and Pocket PC. It was created on top of our e-commerce engine, which supports a configurable item catalog, allows selling various kinds of goods, both material and software. It allows tracking items on stock for goods that are limited by quantity, setting prices and discounts, processing orders online or offline; provides integration with credit card processing system as well as many other features that build up a complete e-commerce solution for small to middle size businesses.

The project dealt with development of different applications for Palm and Pocket PC. Their list included searchable databases of Doctors, Drugs, and ICD codes as well as utilities that simplify doctors' everyday routine tasks like prescriptions, unit conversions, calculations, etc.

The Be Healthy Canada medical portal has great variety of functional modules, thousands of links and contacts in its database, banners management system, e-commerce module, closed area for health care professionals with access to additional portal services and information. Furthermore portal database is divided into 13 Canadian provinces and territories and visitors are working with portal in context of certain one of them. Portal content and all navigation items are fully managed with Afortio Content management system.
