EIPM SA is a manufacturer of industrial and embedded computers for the device appliances market.

In September 2002 we sent a specification for a software development to Afortio Ltd of Kiev, Ukraine. The company had been recommended to us by one of their colleagues working in Switzerland.

Basically the project was a self contained development of a special communication driver with configuration menus. It had to work under all flavours of MS Windows (98, 2K, XP).

After a couple of mails to clarify some points we received a detailed roadmap with 4 clear milestones along with suggestions for improvement, which we gladly accepted. The milestones were respected, each one included a prototype for testing and acceptance, and the project was completed to our full satisfaction within the roadmap.

We were truly impressed by their quick response time to fix the unavoidable bugs, their commitment to respect the time schedules and the agreed budget as well as the remarkable engagement of all the staff to make the projects succeed.

In the course of this first experience we have come to know and appreciate Afortio as a very professional and committed company composed of a highly skilled team of managers and programmers all fluent in English. Hence there were no language problems and our communication through mails worked perfectly well to such an extent that no travel were at that time necessary.

This experience was very positive and we are happy to continue our co-operation with Afortio for new software developments. Hence we can highly recommend this young and very motivated company to anyone who considers developing software projects abroad.

From early 2003 onward, our company has been in constant co-operation with Afortio Ltd of Kiev, Ukraine. In the course of several projects involving the development of complex software systems we have come to know and appreciate Afortio as a thoroughly professional and committed company. Their motto seems to be: "it should not just be good, it should be brilliant". Of course, everyone makes mistakes, so the motto is not "it should be perfect". However, the people at Afortio are the first to admit a mistake and remedy it at once. This makes for an altogether pleasant atmosphere in which the inevitable problems are quickly resolved, especially when "the going gets tough".

From a business perspective, Afortio has proven itself to be a reliable partner, committed to do exactly what it promised at the time it promised to do so, and, I might add, for the amount it promised to do it for.

In all, it has been a pleasure, both on a professional and a personal level and we hope do continue our co-operation for a long time indeed.
